About Mehdi Kurtagich owner of Oasis Community Social Services

I am a compassionate and dedicated Registered Social Worker with a deep-rooted commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, particularly those from marginalized or vulnerable communities.
 
Through all of my experiences, my goal has always remained the same: to help individuals in an empathetic, non-judgmental way, fostering a sense of hope and empowerment in every interaction.
My approach is deeply rooted in a client-centered philosophy, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual and working alongside them to achieve their goals with compassion, respect, and a commitment.

Our Mission​
To help bridge gaps in mental health​ services

Oasis Community Social Services provides trauma-informed counselling and social work services for adults, older adults, and families. Areas of focus include grief and loss, trauma, refugee experiences, life transitions, stress, and relationship challenges. Services are offered in-person and online across BC with an emphasis on resilience, dignity, and culturally responsive care.

To provide compassion, empathy and understanding while bridging gaps in mental health ​

Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
